When the country was bound by the chains of slavery and all life was stuck in the storm of superstition, orthodoxy, and ignorance. In fact, due to the combined effect of religious-social reform movements, the need for reform and change in political life was felt. Individuals like Vivekananda, Aurobindo Ghosh, and later Gandhi gradually paved the way for change, from which nationalism flourished as a new idea. In this context, through this research paper, the Renaissance period in India has to be discussed.
